FOUNDER
Bruce E. Edgelow
Bruce has 45 years of banking experience with a focus on lending to the oil and gas industry. After spending 31 years with Royal Bank of Canada, he joined ATB Financial in July 2003 and took on the responsibility to help build the bank’s Energy business and capabilities. In early 2015, Bruce headed up their Turnaround Assistance Group, providing leadership to ATB's sales teams whose clients were experiencing financial difficulties through the downturn. He retired from the organization March 31, 2017., at which point he formed EdgeMark.
Bruce has attained the ICD.D designation. He is a very active participant in community and church activities. He is past vice-chair of Trellis, the predecessor agency post the merger of Boys & Girls Club and Aspen Family & Community Network. He is a former member of the Energy Future Lab and an advisor to Canada Water NEXT Innovations Inc. Bruce sits as a board member of Bumble Bees Venture Capital. He serves on the Mount Royal University Foundation board and proudly chairs Carya Society, Calgary's longest serving social services Agency (roots back to 1910), His most favorite and passionate involvement centers around co-leading a Leader Impact Group (an arm of Power to Change) which is centered on Leadership Development with a focus on faith.
